Are you looking for a unique experience that will get your students or residents excited about learning? Then the Tri-State Zoological Park would love to share our zoo experience with you!
Nothing inspires learning like hands-on experience and that’s exactly what you get when you either visit our zoo conveniently located in Cumberland or allow us to bring our zoo to you!
We have several different programs available that we can tailor to your specific needs. With over 30 different species, we have a variety of animals to experience and learn about including but not limited to:
· Reptiles
· Lemurs
· Exotic Birds
· Binturong
· Sugar Gliders
· Alligators
· Pigs
· Llama
· Porcupine
· Small Primates
· Large & Small Exotic Cats
· Bears
· Hedgehogs
· Ferrets
· Various Domestic Farm Animals
It’s one of our greatest passions to encourage young minds’ curiosity about animals and conservation. Our zoo is unique in that we want all of our guests to experience our animals up-close and personal. The fun and excitement that our programs generate will inspire your students to learn and create memories to last a lifetime.

Educational Programs:
Let us bring our Zoo to you! One of our specially trained zookeepers will provide a 60 to 90 minute presentation. This will be an educational lecture with at least 5 different animals in an age-related format, including an optional up-close and personal time with some of our most tame animals. Our fees are as follows:
$250 – for a 60 to 90 minute presentation
$50 – for an additional 30 minutes
$100 for each additional hour thereafter
There are travel charges for any site more than 30 miles away and a deposit may be required. Other options are available; please contact us for additional details. Depending on the season and availability the animals we bring along will vary.
For group visits to the zoo we offer a discount off of our regular rates. Please see our hours, rates & directions page.
Birthdays at the Zoo
Birthdays at the zoo will offer your child and their friends a day full of fun educational excitement, while allowing you the opportunity to provide your child a birthday to remember for an affordable price.
Our birthday package rates are as follows:
Package #1 - $135 – for up to 25 guests; this includes use of one of our covered pavilions, 2 full hours at the zoo, a personal tour with one of our zookeepers and a hands-on time with a few of our animal friends with lots of photo opportunities. Electric is available in the pavilions.
Additional guests - $5 each
Package #2 - $185 – for up to 25 guests; this includes all of the above, but you will have 3 hours at the zoo with one round of mini-golf for each of your guests.
Additional guests - $7 each
A small deposit may be required at the time of booking.
